Birch Tree Prune & Cable – This is a common problem with Birch clumps where heavy snow and ice loads can cause portions of the clump to bend over. With this River Birch clump, that problem along with the weight of the stem alone caused a heavy, unsightly lean. We pulled the stem back, pruned and installed a ring cable to provide a more stable clump for many years to come!
